Cars are scarce around Sligo on a summer weekend, so book a day or two in advance if you need one for the station, the airport or getting about. For the wedding night itself, please still plan on the free shuttle buses — taxis are very hard to get from the castle.
Free buses run from the castle back to all of these hotels on the wedding night, leaving at 12:30am and 2:30am (last bus). Taxis are very hard to get from Markree unless booked well in advance, so please plan on the bus. Staying at the castle itself? You are already home.
